I-5 BDC - The I-5 Business Development Corridor board of directors meets on the first Wednesday of the month, in one of the member cities (Firebaugh, Kerman, Mendota, and Tranquillity), on a rotating basis. Firebaugh Chamber of Commerce - General meetings on the third Thursday of the month, at 7 p.m., in the Chamber office at 1600 Q St.

Firebaugh Lions Club: Meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, at 7:30 p.m., at 1300 "O" Street (13th and O).

Firebaugh - Mendota VFW Post No. 7380: Meets the third Tuesday of each month, at 6 p.m. at the Veteran’s Hall, cor. 13th and O St. in Firebaugh.

Fresno Westside Mosquito Abatement District provides mosquito control and mosquito-borne disease surveillance for the west side of Fresno County. The public can call for assistance when they have a mosquito problem. There is no charge for this service. District staff is available to provide public education presentations on mosquito control and vector borne diseases to community organizations. The Board of Trustees meets on the second Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m. at the District Office (2555 N Street, Firebaugh, CA). Mendota Chamber of Commerce: Meets on the third Thursday of the month, at 6 p.m. in the Mendota Community Center, 195 Smoot St., in Mendota.

Prevention Youth Council Meetings are held every first and third Thursday of the month at Mendota High School in the library. Start times are 3:45 p.m. til 5:30p.m. All youth from 12 to 19 years of age from Kerman, Mendota, Firebaugh, San Joaquin, Tranquillity, Biola and West Fresno are welcome to attend.
